Mike, Lindsey and crew visiting - Disneyland Day 1 part 2

One of the things we were most excited to watch is the World of Color!

In order to get the most awesome seats possible, we enjoyed dinner at the Wine Country Trattoria.  And they happen to have Filet Mignon on the menu, so we'll be enjoying that tonight.

After we had all finished eating, Macy made her appearance.

A quick stop at the restroom and some Starbucks.

Then it was time to get to the seating area for World of Color.  Our server told us that we can show up at 7:45 for the 8pm show.  Ha, no chance of that.  We showed up at 6:30 and went straight for what we and other have said is the best seat in the house.

At 7:45, the area was completely packed.  It would have been a complete waste of the ticket to show up that late.  The only thing you've got to plan for sitting that close is getting a little wet.

The show itself was amazing as usual.  And this is still my absolute favorite spot to watch from.  And even better, there was the Prep and Landing sequence to start off the show.

The only thing missing was Macy, Brandon and Rebecca.

Thankfully Brandon and Rebecca showed up before the show and took Macy.  After the show, Mike and Lindsey were really showing their age and decided to go home at 9pm with the baby.

I had to go out with them to swap car keys and on the way in, I stopped for a few photos.

They've completely decorated Buena Vista Street and it looks awesome!

There's a brand new tree at the end of the street.

And it's got some great presents and ornaments underneath the tree.

And the train underneath blows smoke.

We stopped by the Mad Tea Party and got to watch a few fun dance crews.

At that point, it was me and T, Kaleb and Chelsey, and Brandon and Rebecca left.  We walked over to Disneyland and Mickey was at the end of the street just waiting for us to come see him.

And even though no one had seen Nightmare Before Christmas, we all went over to the Haunted Mansion.

Every year I'm impressed with the gingerbread house.  This year they recreated Jack's house on the top of the hill from the movie.

Next we went on only of Theresa's favorite rides. Winnie the Pooh!

Then over to Pirates.

And Buzz Lightyear.

Theresa was the big winner, but I told everyone before we even got on the ride that my gun was broken...

Next we all took a trip to Toad Hall.

And all had a go at pulling the sword from the stone.  Sadly, none of us had any luck though.

In the end, after Mike, Lindsey and Macy left us, we were able to get in 8 more rides in 3 hours.  It was time to head back home.  No plans for tomorrow except watching some movies and maybe a trip to the beach.
