Our last day with Mike, Lindsey and crew

Theresa and I had to work on Monday morning, but we got off early to meet up with everyone at the parks.  The night before, I found all my Christmas hats and set them out for people to grab.  It was a pleasant surprise to see everyone wearing one.

We got compliments all day about our hats and I loved how it made us all look like a part of the same group!

We joined up with them right around lunchtime. Here Michael is enjoying a hot dog topped with mac and cheese plus bacon.  Mmm.

While Rebecca and Brandon chose a sweet lunch.

Those of us who didn't have a baby asleep in a stroller all rode it's a small world.

We love all the holiday decorations.

Lilo, Stitch, plus Elvis Presley.

After the ride, we met up with Macy, Mike and Lindsey.  Macy happened to be the only one without a hat.  Good thing me and T thought ahead and bought her one!

What a great family photo!

Next we jumped in line for Peter Pan.

And some of the bravest of us rode the Matterhorn.

Hi Harold!

Can you believe I have never had a turkey leg from Disneyland?  Time to remedy that!

Mmm.  It was smoky and tasty.  Theresa even enjoyed picking all the choice pieces of meat off it.

The parade route already had lots of people taking up the best spots along the street.  Luckily, we know that they've be blocking off one of the areas right by the castle.  We meandered in that area until they started putting up ropes, and we were a the very front of that section.
Macy kept herself entertained by looking at all the blinking lights on the Pluto hat.

Duffy happens to be leading off the parade.

I always enjoy hearing the toy soldiers playing their instruments and marching.

Pluto trying to hang a star on the top of the tree.

Hello Mrs. Claus.  I've been very good this year.  Tell Santa to bring me lots of presents!

Macy is enjoying herself.

Pooh and Tigger zoom around on their sleds.

And we have some dancing and skating snow flakes.

Are these snowmen cute or creepy?

Hi Mickey!

Poor Eeyore following along dragging his broken sled. He was really selling it too.  He was yanking on the rope and the sled wasn't budging.  Everyone was going aww, poor Eeyore.

Well eventually he left the sled and walked back to a parade attendant.  Looks like his sled really was broken.  Of course it would happen to Eeyore.

Not really knowing what else to do, Eeyore just danced in place a little bit and kicked the sled.

Eventually maintenance came over, opened it up, and started pulling the sled away.

Back to the parade!  Clarabell with a troop of gingerbread men.

Macy's a happy one!

Then we were visited by princesses.

And finally the big guy himself, being led by his reindeer.

And like usual, there are Santa's helpers bringing up the end.

Because they'd never been on it before, we joined Kaleb and Chelsey on the Finding Nemo subs.

Then went back to it's a small world to get some photos in front of the beautiful lights.

There was a short castle show that we watched while all the lights came on.  There was even snow on Main Street.  Not quite as impressive to people visiting from Colorado I suppose.

The last stop of the night was the World of Disney store to get some souvenirs.

And with that, our time was done.  We drove home and went to bed.

The next morning, we said our goodbyes before we left for work.  We had a great time with everyone visiting!  Thanks for coming out to see us!
