Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!

Santa must have came last night because the cookies are gone and the stockings are full. He even left the kids a note!

Alli was all set to start opening presents, but first, breakfast.

Breakfast complete, kids changed out of pajamas, it's time!

First come the stockings. And just like they wanted, Santa brought them the candy and money they'd been asking for.

Alli was very organized and set everything out in a row.

Then it was time to get into the presents.

Mmm. 10 different hot sauces. Yum!

A Mater bank! And Alli got a Lightning McQueen bank!

She's an expert on opening presents. Before Christmas we would find the presents under the tree had their corners peeled back a little.

Disney socks for the girls.

Forget the money. She's after the candy.

Jelly Belly jelly beans! Those Krispy Kreme donut flavors are sure to be tasty. And the Bean Boozled beans will be interesting. I know everyone wants to try a Dead Fish flavored jelly bean. Or maybe a Spoiled Milk or Rotten Egg flavor.

Here's a present for Daddy.
Alli - I'll help you open it.
Thanks Alli.

This Beauty and the Beast tea set was a big hit with Alli, with her pushing it around and giving people tea for the rest of the day.

The present T and I gave everyone was a small gift baggie. Inside was: 1 dart, 2 playing cards, 5 dice, and 1 bingo ball. Amy guessed that everyone was getting a trip to Vegas. Not quite, but close! You're playing games for your gifts this year.

With the darts, each person got to throw 1 dart at the 24 balloon board.

Inside each balloon was money!

Everyone had a great time with it, cheering people on, or yelling at them for stepping over the line.

Nailed it.

For the next game, with 5 dice, you got 3 rolls to get as close to 30 as possible. The closer you got, the more money you won.

Blowing on them for good luck.

T even bought a prize wheel for one of the games. With 2 spins each, there were 2 Jackpots!

People went head to head playing shuffleboard.

And the big winner won a nice prize.

And finally it was time for Bingo. First to Bingo gets a big prize.
In the end, everyone had a lot of fun with it. It was a lot more fun and memorable than just getting money. Good job T for coming up with all the fun games.

One last present. The kids got a little something for each other. A new ball for Ian and a stuffed animal for Alli.

Aww.

Let's do lunch! A giant prime rib roast with a bunch of other tasty sides.
